there be句型表示"某处有某物"。be动词的单复数由后面紧接的名词决定（就近原则）。

肯定句：There is a book on the desk. / There are two pens in the box.
否定句：There isn't any water in the cup.（在be后加not）
疑问句：Is there a computer in the room?（把be提句首）
